The Software is the Key

We install CMS - content managed systems - software. CMS software can be thought of like the Microsoft Office package, which is a collection of individual software programs, each carrying out a specific task. For a new user of Office, Word, Excel, Publisher or Outlook are as simple or as complex as the individual wishes to make them. To learn an Office Package like Word people either go on a training course or, more usually they learn over time, as they use the software.

Our CMS system is like any word processor to use and is simplistic in its functions but can be as complicated as a user wishes to make it. This is why our software is happy in the hands of a novice right up to an experienced a web designer used to working with some or all of these technologies - HTML, CSS, Java, PHP, MySQL and Flash.

The Features.

Features are tools to make your website more interesting and useful to the visitor. If offered something in return a visitor will register on your website and become a user. This is very desirable if you are retailing online but has an impact on any type of website because as you build your list of registered users you are creating a valuable marketing resource and are increasing the value of the website.

Each of the features contained within the CMS can be individually configured and turned off or on as required and fit within your website seamlessly. Features can be available to the visitor, the registered user or only to a very specific group of users like administrators.

We do not promote the use of every feature on a single website. We only give you this list to show you the sort of things that are available and this is only a selection.
