How it all fits together
Here we describe how the whole system fits together.
At the top we have the domain name
Access to the management tools for your domain is through a web page on the domain registrar's website through a control panel you log in to. As with all suppliers there are good and bad however to the man in the street any difference between them would be unclear. As developers we know what tools we are going to need and why - not just today but through the whole life cycle of the domain. Whatever domain name you have or want we would look at what management tools your registrar offers and give you the best advice.
Then the hosting
This is where your website resides. Much like the provider of the domain there are good and bad hosts. We have our own server located in a data centre and provide every possible tool you could wish for to manage your e-mail and hosting space. We can adjust the amount of space and the bandwidth as your needs change and offer to set up your very own server if your needs are very large. As with all hosts you have access to a control panel where you can create an unlimited number of e-mail accounts, edit the MX records, set CRON jobs, create an unlimited number of SQL databases, park an unlimited number of domains and create an unlimited number of sub domains. Of course there is much more and just as with the website you can take on as much or as little as you desire.
We also offer dedicated IP addresses, SSL certificates, FTP access, webmail and detailed statistics.

Finally the Website
With all our websites you have full access to update the pages, menus and layout yourself. How much updating you decide to do depends on you - if you want to do everything then you can, should you prefer us to deal with it we will. Even your website users can add content to the website if you want them to.
Typically many of our clients have wanted us to train them a little - just enough to do the basic page editing then they call on our services as they need them.
